Based on a modular design, these gripper actuators are separated into drive unit and gripper set. The advantages of this functional separation become fully apparent when they are combined to form gripper-indexing actuators. The drive unit for the end position can be mounted on the underside of the rotary actuator eliminating the need for co-rotating energy cables.
